About Us

The Josephine Street Cafe was founded in 1979 by Patrick S. Molak. The Building has been around long before it was turned into the famous Texas Roadhouse it is today. Josephine Street Cafe resides in what used to be Fincke's Meat Market.

The owner has a lot of experience in restoring old buildings.  Gruene Hall and The Gristmill River Restaurant and Bar in Gruene, Texas can be added to the list of restorations and successes for the Jo St. owner,  Pat Molak. They were founded by he and his business partner in the Mid- Seventies.   Just down the road from San Antonio, Historic Gruene at New Braunfels,  is a hot spot for the locals and a MUST SEE for visitors.  ghall.media12.png

The atmosphere at Jo Street is also filled with character and charm. From the servers to the unique surroundings, it is an experience not to miss. A 500 year old tree is a common  conversation piece as it makes its home inside in the middle of the restaurant. Img20.png

Josephine Street Cafe serves excellent  Steaks, Chicken and Seafood, great drinks  and outstanding guest service all in a unique atmosphere - a combination that can't be beat!

Through our commitment, experience, and expertise Josephine Street Cafe has established a relationship with our customers that will last a lifetime!
